East & West Coast of South Africa

Sailing has opened up a whole new world to us. We feel as though we can go anywhere, travel the seas, see the world, experience so much more in life. That is our aim and we would like you all to experience these adventures with us. We will break up the twoareas to make it more simple; the East Coast and the West Coast.

West Coast - Myconos Resort (December 2009 - January 2010)

This has been the most amazing trip - Sailing around the West Coast of South Africa. We started at Langebaan at the Myconos Resort and sailed all the way fron Cape to Storms up to Lambert's Bay, stopping at Saldanha Bay, Stompneus Bay and Port Owen.

We covered vast stretches of nothing but water. We built on amaging friendships, formed strong bonds and met new friends.

We got close to nature that lives in the sea; Dolphins, Whales, Penguins, fish and birds.

We experience great balmy sunny days and weather that brings out the inner strength you never thought you had but hoped you did coz you sure neeed it.

It was out of this world though. Definitly enjoyed it all and made many great memories.

Our story will follow, once we are home and I finish writing it, but till then you can view all the photos in the Gallery section.

Enjoy.

East Coast - Inhambaan to Madagascar (May 2010)

This time we split up and went in different directions.... I went to Madagascar while X10 sailed from Durban to Cape Town in the 'Boat of the Year' contest.

My trip started when I sailed from Durban, headed up to Inhambaan and from there to Madagascar.

The weather was great... the trip exciting.

There is more to follow.... watch this space. More photos will follow, and if time permits, even a story.

There are photos in the Gallery section.

Enjoy.
