About Us

My wife X10 (Christine) and I enjoy living out of town, on Loch Vaal (Vaal River), with our children and Malamute dogs. We have always preferred the small country life compared to town life and the freedom it gives. I have always loved adventure, nature, living on the wild side, and taking on challenges. So it came as no real surprise to anyone that we eventually bought a small yacht. No surprise either that we had to venture into the wilds of Zimbabwe and face Lake Kariba.

With all the drama of our first trip we have to be honest; it was just as full of excitement, fun and laughter, wonderful time spent together and amazing memories.

We also realised that there are so many people out there who would love to share this kind of experience and at the same time would prefer to have a guide; someone with some knowledge and experience; therefore avoiding many of the pitfalls. This of course also provides them with a yacht.

We don't want to stop at experiences on Lake Kariba when there are so many wonderful experiences right here on the Vaal Dam, Lake Gariep and so many more.
